recently steve colbert was named by the A.P as Celebrity of the year beating out the likes of J.K. Rowling and company. its actually a pretty huge feat considered that when it comes down to it, all he really is, is a t.v host - that just happens to be one of the funniest fucks around.

From Russia With Rockets?

December 20, 2007 · No Comments

don’t you just love Christmas cards? well how about a whole bunch of Soviet Christmas cards? i mean its one thing to be a crazed santa fan, but its clearly a whole other thing to want to put santa on the back of a rocket ship with a little girl. or how about the little boy holding a christmas tree while wearing a space helmet. good ol’ soviets always able to put a smile on everyones face with santa and rockets…

come on, is anyone actually believing all of these conspiracies? i suppose a few of them could be true. perhaps the one about stephen king killing john lennon, i mean how could we all be so foolish as to miss that? perhaps if I were in charge of the investigation, we may have caught that from the beginning.  [ Link ]

would you SHUT UP out there, im trying to sleep

December 18, 2007 · No Comments

you know we all have those days when something outside just won’t stop making noise. whether it be a dog, person, machine or all of the above - some day’s its simply too much to handle. we can all relate to how we go back inside, grab our gun and go shoot whatever is making the noise. i mean i did that just yesterday as some old man was yelling outside like a crazy person. oh wait, sorry i mixed up my own life for this guy who decided that construction was just too loud and there because this poor guy was working on the construction site, he should be shot in the face. I’m a firm believer that people that commit crimes that are being the point of mental retardation should not be put in jail or killed, but rather they should be delivered to a pharmaceutical company and be used instead of animals for testing of all sorts of crap. then eventually thrown into a pit of Scarborough gangsters ( cause we have gangsters, OH WE HAVE GANGSTA’S) and if they should happen to not have a cigarette, oh dear - they are done for.

its xmas time, again

December 17, 2007 · No Comments

i figured i’d write something to the extent of how much i dislike holiday shopping. although this year i have less people to buy for as certain relatives are not within the country anymore. my usual consists of the normal same as everyone direct family members plus any other halves and/or husbands and wives they each might have. but today as i walked around a struggling town centre, i realized that some people just aren’t really sure who/what/where to buy anything at all. for these people, i have come up with a way for them to figure out exactly how to shop for everyone. its simple, all you have to do is get gather them all up and place them in Wal-mart and lock the doors. that way we can all shop around at the places we want to go and not have to worry about that person who stands looking at something for 28 minutes, then at the exact moment you want to walk up and look at something, they move, block you and then continue to stand there for 27 more minutes. oh by the way, i think small children should be banned from all public malls. seriously, they get lost, they cry, they run around getting into trouble. what good comes from bringing a small child to the mall?

if you haven’t checked out the post below about storyofstuff.com, you really should. its a very interesting look into how the process starts and completes. how we consume products is very important and how we do away with these products is even more important. the entire movie can be found on the actually site, but i posted a little teaser below.

waterboarded

December 13, 2007 · No Comments

i wanted to briefly touch down on an article matt good posted about a recent diatribe by Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly on water boarding.  in case you aren’t aware, water boarding is a form of torture that President Bush and many other high up superiors deem acceptable to interrogate terrorists with to gather information to save lives regardless if it violates international war crime laws.

birthdays and christmas

December 13, 2007 · No Comments

its almost that time, the time to swing from the rafters and yell for joy. its Christmas time again, thats right, Christmas. Did you buy a Christmas tree? Or a Holiday Tree? Well I’m going to be blunt and straight to the point. Holiday tree’s do not exist, they are simply tree’s. Christmas tree’s have meaning and symbolize what Christmas is to anyone that celebrates it. If you do not celebrate Christmas, great. But get over yourself and don’t force everyone else to alter their beliefs of a great holiday.  recently a man in the states was attacked after he wished someone else a happy Hanukkah. they were obviously anti-semitic and decided his holiday wishes were not welcomed in the public subway system. i’ve lost the link so I can’t show the whole story. but i can show this story about a court in a small town USA which had the nativity scene located outside. of course it caused controversy because its a religious symbol and the court house shouldn’t be religious at all according to this local resident. get over yourself and relax, take a deep breathe and realize please that you mean nothing mr resident in the giant scheme of things. no one cares about your complain or opinion, just go home and be quiet and pray to whatever god you feel is worth it.
